How do I use a digital template?
We’re using a digital template that you can personalize right on your computer or tablet. Once you’ve got it just the way you want, you’ll print your design and use the magic of decoupage to adhere it to a charming 4″ round wood blank. The result? A one-of-a-kind ornament that’s all yours, from design to decoration!
Included in the templates are the most common personalized ornament requests – family, new homes, babies and newlyweds! In the video tutorial, I walk you through step-by-step how to personalize each type and as a bonus, I show you how to turn the family ornament into an ornament for one person, such as a teacher, grandchild, hairdresser or friend.

What You’ll Need – Supply List:
- Ornament Templates from Amy & Art
- 4 inch wood round ornament blanks – Amazon or Amy & Art
- ModPodge
- DuraClear in Matte or Satin
- jute twine for a hanger
- craft iron (nice but optional – helps your paper lay nice and flat)
- parchment paper or similar (not waxed paper – brown packing paper also works)
- ribbon of choice (optional)
- wood beads (optional)
